Or does it print lots of copies of page 1? * Does this continue until you cancel the job? * Is there any delay between copies? * Does the command ppop alerts ppad show bby451903nw03-ps show any interesting messages? * What kind of file are you printing? Does it happen if you print a simple text file, like this? ppr -d bby451903nw03-ps myfile.txt * Why are you using the option "-H transparent"? This option was created as a way to test print severely broken PostScript files. It will not help you if the printer won't print and could confuse the situation. (It is unfortunate that I chose the word transparent, a word with strongly positive connotations. Maybe I should change the name to something like lobotomize or close-your-eyes-and-jump. And yes, I know that there are people who have a lot of defective jobs and run with -H transparent because I haven't implemented passthru mode for PostScript yet. I will go work on that right now.)
