I can tell you though that the job will remain in that directory until it is deleted by the "print command" defined in the Samba configuration. The print command is defined in /usr/lib/ppr/lib/smb-protos.conf. The share definition for the queue is in /etc/ppr/smb-include.conf. The share definition contains a "copy" line which refers to the prototype in smb-protos.conf. Have you used Samba's "testparms" to make sure that the share entry for your print queue makes sense?
