I have only seen this once before. It involved a Ricoh printer. It would malfunction in this way if one used any printer name other than "LPT1". The printer name "RAW" sounds right to me, but you might want to verify the printer name in your manual. If they give a sample /etc/printcap entry, I think you will find it under "rp=".
