Subject: PPR: missing ppr.conf?
Hi Folks,
I am new to PPR, but I've compiled and installed version 1.44 on a
Solaris8 box. I've tried to add a printer through the web interface as
well as through the ppad command line. However, when I try to submit a
job to the printer I get the following error message:
+++
# ls -l /usr/bin | ./ppr -d los1650
filter_lp: value is not in the correct format
while attempting to read "/etc/ppr/ppr.conf"
[internationalization]
defaultmedium =
Your new print job for "los1650" has been rejected by PPR because of a
fatal error: filter failed, exit code = 1.
+++
This is where I am stuck. I can't find any reference to what the ppr.conf
file is supposed to look like or how it is supposed to be
generated/created.
The only vague reference I have found is in the pprdoc-12.html in the
Media Handling chapter.
Can somebody point me to where I can find more info on the ppr.conf file?
Francisco
