From: "Dr Douglas J. Chappell" <d.chappell@mmb.usyd.edu.au> Date: Fri, 22 Mar 2002 11:56:46 +1100 Subject: Re: PPR: HP 4500 problem Hi, The extra page with para marks, sometimes 1 or 2 or 3 was fixed finally by using the lpr interface. Somehow some extra data was arriving after the last page when using the tcpip interface. It only affected the 4500 not our other laserjets (4000, 4050, 5MP, 4100, etc). The effect occurred whether printing from a mac, unix or pc, (usually 1 para mark from unix, 2 from a mac or pc). Doug >A while ago I upgraded our ppr installation from 1.40b1 to 1.44.
