The machines are dedicated with a dedicated user interface which only allows access to the features of the machine and this does not include mail reading. The machines are very often operational 24-hours a day year round and even if the quite unlikely situation arise where pprd wouldn't be running while a print job would be launched there is no need to generate a mail message in this very specific context.
