After all they use it in 'serious' printers like the LJ8550 (colour laserjet). They simply choose not to put it in the B/W models. I assume it is to cost related. I assume the difference between 8100 and 8150 you have noticed is because the latter has a new RIP (supporting PS Level 3), so new bugs seems probable. > They made the driver > and the software we're trying to use, but won't provide support. Even more significantly: they sold it to you as supporting PostScript. Depending on where you are based, that could have meaningful repercussions. Espen
