One would think so. All you need is a user interface for 4, 5, 6.

I had a related idea, which was to have a terminal next to the printer
so that people could easily see the queue for the particular printer.
An obvious extension is to provide the ability to move jobs to an idle
printer if this one has a long queue. Deleting stuck jobs without
operator intervention was another motivation, but the problem of rogue
cancelling would be an issue.

How do you enforce fairness? ie. the first person to the terminal can
hog it and prevent other people printing their jobs.
