From: Martin Whinnery <martin@sbirmc.ac.uk> Date: Wed, 31 Jan 2001 00:36:28 +0000 Subject: PPR: We got some issues... Hokay... We're a large educational establishment running a Samba based network. We've decided to standardise on PostScript for network printing, in part because of PPR, in part because we had to standardise someway and at least one can, in theory, read Postscript. However... We have a number of issues, the most pressing of which is that on a number of our non-postscript printers, large jobs are dying part way through. The first few pages print, then the job arrests. I'm at a loss. PS Our network clients are Win95 machines, and we use Adobe's PS driver. PPS If anyone would like to hold our hand and help us sort this and some other issues out, we'd be mighty grateful. Mart
