From: "TheBong Pipe" <thevelvet@hotmail.com> Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2000 02:36:18 PST Subject: PPR: Mac & plotter I am using ppr software to print to a HP3500CP Postscript 3 plotter (jetdirect ethernet interface TCP/IP) using a Linux box (debian potato frozen, latest netatalk package) to pre-spool the jobs from a Mac LAN. ppr works if I print directly from the Linux box, even if missing some fonts around. I am trying to use the papsrv module, wich compiled soccesfully, to accept jobs from the Macs. Papsrv doesn't start, without leaving anything in the log file, and without core-dumping. It simply doesnt run. Do I need to use CAP instad of netatalk? I found some references to CAP in the manual. Can someone help? ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
