Subject: PPR: PPR 1.40b1 released

I have just posted PPR 1.40b1 on the PPR FTP site:

ftp://ppr-dist.trincoll.edu/pub/ppr/

I have turned the editps system off by default in this release. However, I
have fixed the Editps script which edits the output of the Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0 PostScript driver. It should now correctly handle the
output from the various service pack levels and Adobe Acrobat 3.0 and 4.0
output.

This release builds correctly on Linux and Solaris. I don't haven't tested
it on other systems.

I will be back on Friday to answer questions about build problems and
things like that.

Have fun. Since I hope this is the last test release before 1.40, if you
get it to build in and run, please report that fact to me at
ppr-bugs@mail.trincoll.edu. Silence can be hard to interpret. :-)
