I think the problem is that PPR installs its man pages in a private man
directory.  Typically this is 
/usr/ppr/man.  To include these man pages in the set of those searched by
the man command, add the PPR man directory to your MANPATH.  You might do
that by putting these commands at the end of /etc/profile:

MANPATH=/usr/local/man:/usr/man:/usr/ppr/man
export MANPATH
