I need to print large postscript files from Mac to some laser printers =
and plotters via a linux box , so i'm trying to install ppr 1.32p1.
The Linux kernel is 2.0.36
I have installed samba v. 1.9.18p7 and netatalk 1.4b2+asun2.1.1 too =
(which didn't solve my printing problems : postscript errors like =
offending command : interrupt , rangecheck, image and so on )
But , when i compile the package , i got the mentioned error;
As you told me i look in the file include/global.mk and see the lines:
ATALKTYPE=3Dali
ALLATALK=3Dallatalk
INSTALLATALK=3Dinstallatalk
So what to do now ?

This problem is happening when libppr/ali_str.c is being compiled. =
Its functions are skipped if ATALKTYPE_ali is not defined. See =
libppr/Makefile and include/global.mk to see how this is defined.

which version of PPR you are using.
