From: "Espen H. Any hints would be welcome. I would also like to confirm two points: a) The instructions mention Windows 95, but my test clients are all running windows 98. Can I assume Windows 98 should work? b) The printers.def file generated by pdd2samba seems to have unix rather than DOS line-breaks. Is this ok? My setup is running PPR 1.40a5, Samba 2.0.4 and I'm setting up a HP LaserJet 4000N. In addition to the PPD files, the following files in the win95drv share are visible to users trying to set up a printer by drag and drop: ICONLIB.DLL, PSMON.DLL, PSCRIPT.INI, PSCRIPT.DRV, PSCRIPT.HLP, FONTS.MFM. The basic problem is that when a user drag-and-drops the PPR printer (or double-clicks on it), the printer wizard still insists on making the users select the manufacturer and model of the printer (based on the local driver data). Am I missing something obvious? Espen
